I was brought up in a home void of tiles except for a few as a splash back in the bathroom. Mum always contended that they were difficult to clean.
Well, maybe back then they were but not now. Tiles are fantastic. They are so easy to keep clean and look after – if I ever build a new home I will be using tiles everywhere. And if they feel a bit cold just get a rug.
