It is not only children nor grown ups can suffer gingivitis but the individual in all ages. You can easily figure out gingivitis because it is the mildest form of gum disease and it is being indicated by red, tender, puffy and swollen gum’s that easily bleed when brushing. It can also cause persistent bad breath, receding gum’s and bleeding gum’s. Swollen gum’s are an indication that there is a presence of gum infection which is due to excessive accumulation of plaque. Plaque build up can be avoided with proper oral care and regular dental visits.
