Customers know what they are buying. There’s usually some sort of benchmark or product criteria customers use to judge whether your product is related with their needs or wants like treatment of headache. The drawback is that you do need to have some type of advertising budget to tell this to your customers. But if you have a good product and run an ad and nothing happens how can you blame the product. The product is inert. Services and products need right marketing. The essence of advertising is convincing people that a product is meant for them.
